OneGo by Sime Motors: One App, Every Brand, One Customer Journey

Sime Motors is one of the region's largest automotive groups, operating multiple brands under one corporate umbrella with presence across Malaysia, Singapore, and broader Asia and Australia/New Zealand markets. Sweetmag was engaged to build OneGo from the ground up, a mobile app designed to unify customers across every Sime Motors brand into a single, cohesive digital experience.

Challenge

Before OneGo, Sime Motors' customers experienced each brand under their group as a separate, disconnected relationship. Customer data lived in silos across brands, leaving no unified view of who a customer was across the group and creating missed opportunities to engage them meaningfully throughout their vehicle ownership journey. At the same time, other automotive groups in the region were beginning to consolidate their own digital experiences, adding competitive pressure for Sime Motors to bring its brands together before fragmented customer relationships became a genuine disadvantage.

Goal

Build a single mobile app from scratch that unifies customers across all Sime Motors brands, giving them one place to access news, RSVP to events, book car services, request roadside assistance, renew insurance, and shop for merchandise, while feeding every interaction back into Sime Motors' Salesforce marketing and loyalty systems for a complete view of the customer.

Solution

Sweetmag built OneGo as a custom Flutter mobile app, designed around Sime Motors' full vehicle ownership journey rather than any single brand or transaction.

Unified Multi-Brand Customer Experience

OneGo consolidates customers from every Sime Motors brand into a single app, giving each customer one consistent identity and experience regardless of which brand they engage with. This turns a group of previously siloed brand relationships into one connected customer journey, and directly addresses the fragmented customer data that made unified engagement difficult before.

Full Vehicle Ownership Lifecycle in One App

The app covers the full range of what a Sime Motors customer needs: brand news and event invites with RSVP functionality, car service bookings, roadside assistance requests, insurance renewals, and merchandise purchases, bringing services that once lived across separate systems and channels into a single, self-service experience.

Enhanced After-Sales Services & Proactive Support

Beyond transactional features, OneGo provides a suite of advanced after-sales functionality: seamless service booking, maintenance reminders, vehicle health reports, and warranty information. Rather than waiting for customers to reach out when something goes wrong, this proactive approach keeps customers informed and supported throughout their entire ownership journey, building the kind of trust that turns a one-time buyer into a long-term customer.

Salesforce Marketing & Loyalty Integration

Every interaction within OneGo, from a service booking to an event RSVP to a merchandise purchase, syncs back to Sime Motors' Salesforce platform, feeding both the marketing and loyalty functions. This gives Sime Motors a genuinely unified view of each customer across brands, powering more relevant marketing and a loyalty programme that reflects a customer's full relationship with the group, not just one brand.
