Sweetmag built Touch 'n Go Shop as a standalone, brand-owned platform, launching first with the brand's consumer product line before expanding into a business offering roughly a year later.
Owning the Direct Relationship
Touch 'n Go Shop gave the brand its first direct-to-consumer storefront, selling RFID cards, NFC-enabled Charms, and limited-edition collaborations straight to customers instead of through resellers. This put Touch 'n Go in control of its own product launches, customer data, and repeat purchase relationships for the first time.
Finance Consolidation Reporting Module
This was the most demanding part of the build. There was no existing report format or reference point to scope against, Sweetmag had to work through what Bank Negara-grade financial reporting actually needed to look like from first principles, then build a module that ensures accurate daily order synchronization across every transaction.
Expansion into Business Products
About a year after launch, Touch 'n Go Shop expanded beyond B2C with a new Business offering, letting companies order customised Touch 'n Go cards branded with their own company details.
