Sweetmag rebuilt the GDEX app as a hybrid app using the Flutter framework, with a dedicated backend and admin layer supporting both consumer and merchant experiences.
Consumer & Guest Tools
Sweetmag built a full set of self-service tools for everyday users, including shipment tracking, rate estimation, outlet search with map integration, and a volumetric calculator, giving customers the ability to get the information they need without contacting GDEX directly.
Merchant Self-Service Portal Within the App
For business merchants, Sweetmag built a considerably deeper set of tools: shipment submission for both single and bulk shipments, pickup request management, an in-app wallet for payments and balance tracking, and order and profile management, effectively giving merchants a full logistics management tool in their pocket rather than requiring desktop or counter-based processes.
Admin Backend & Content Management
Sweetmag built an admin backend giving GDEX's team control over the app's content and communication, including managing marketing content, sending notifications and announcements, and general app administration.
Deep Integration with GDEX's Existing Systems
The app was integrated with GDEX's myGDEX platform for merchant profile, address book, and wallet data, alongside rate calculation, tracking, invoicing, and consignment note generation systems, live chat support, and social login options, ensuring the app worked as a genuine extension of GDEX's existing infrastructure rather than a standalone build.
